I personally do very little work in civil aerospace, but the company that employs me at present carries a heavy stake in it.  The next few years aren't going to be pretty, and that's before the us government starts realizing that all of these generous $600 unemployment kicker checks will have to be paid back from somewhere, and we'll see a rollback in defense technology development as well.  I'm thinking it might be a good time to try and get into another line of business.

Selling women's shoes still pays well, right?   Maybe I'll go back to school for a degree in gender studies so I can be a wokester.  Ban Goya!  Black beans don't matter!
Do you have a good license and a strong back?
A lot of our funding is DOD and im expecting a significant reduction when trump leaves office. Or, hell, even if he stays at this point. Fortunately, the COVID stuff has opened up a few doors.

Vibes, tho. With all the bickering and limited foresight lately, it's easy to forget that we're destroying the forest for the weeds.
I've started to unload my many Defense Stocks.

Dumped my HII last week.

Agree that they are going to take a hit.
I would think they'd lay off the specialists in civil aerospace first, wouldn't they?

Definitely.  I'm not worried about losing a job.  I don't like the idea of a company in stagnancy that's too anchored down by a dying business to do anything interesting.  Even the clock puncher in me can see that there would be no bonuses and raises for a few years, and that adds up to a lot of cash.  Since I don't own any real share in this business, cash is the way my interest is maintained.
I know a certain Guilt Cuck near your location what would prolly take on a business partner in the BBQ line.

You can call it Cuck-tastic Q.

Similarly, I was thinking a non Antifa BBQ joint might put him out of business.
