A friend's parents managed to get to the basement just in time to have a tree come through their second floor. Would've been killed if not for the phone alert.

Just one tree branch down here. Other places in MD got hit pretty hard.

This all happened monday night into Tuesday morning. We got a little rain, but eastern Va saw some tornadoes. One hit the friend's parents house, another touched down a mile too far away from my inlaws. It missed them, of course, but did destroy this weird little store they love. And through that, my life got better.
