Nights are cool, and almost chilly.  Good scotch guitar weather.

With everything going on around COVID, I'm thinking we won't have the halloween party this year, or at least not in the same form we usually do, despite the obvious "masks required" play.  So that means I might actually have some time to really enjoy September/October.

I'll probably still brew a batch or two, but not having to plan out food and decorations and such means I can maybe put a little extra effort into sweetening up the light show.
Still hot as fecking hell here in the Republic.

Looking forward to Dove season next month tho.
The heat of July has backed off, but we're still in the danger zone until late September.

The new lab is having issues with humidity control, got 3 dehumidifiers pumping, winning. Pumping.
I got a load of seasoned wood coming this weekend. Plenty of green derecho wood I cut for later. I'm looking forward to relaxing by the fireplace and closing out 2020 with calmness. Bourbon will be my go to. I've really acquired a taste for 4 Roses lately. Maybe go someplace warm for Christmas?!
Long ways from cool but at least it's humid and 80's instead of humid and 90's. We'll take every little reduction in the sauna we can get.

I hear that.
Blame Global Warming, but I'm only aware of ONE single day the temps hit 100 this entire summ-ah. And that was last week. We are over the hump now Chillrens.

Guess we got off with a much milder summ-ah than usual here in my slice of the Republic.

Might foretell a bitch of a winter tho.
we've had a couple of cool days here this week, heat index only made it 95
You're down in Confederate territory nowadays, right? All ties broken with Illinois before the looting started?
