So I better start buying ammo!?! Question - I need both home defense and target practice ammo right? What's the current going price on each?? Are most boxes 50 bullets?. I dont wanna get screwed too bad.
For my Glock they basically took $100 down. Now I wait. Prices I've seen on gun brokers is a bit higher than what I paid, I think, I'm no expert on what the going rate is though. Hopefully I don't have to wait too long. I currently just own a few rifles and a 38 special. I've got a lot of catching up to do

Hollow point for self defense. Full metal jacket or lead for practice.
I shot the gun stores 43x last week. Put 50 rounds thru it. Nice shooter! I did only a bit less accurate than I shoot my 19. Probably just the thinness of it to get used to. Next I wanna try shooting Glocks 27, 40 cal subcompact and the sig p365. Still searching for my carry piece jam!
You'll find the Glock 26/27s can be a bit snappy on the recoil. Also, they are more prone to limp wristing malfunctions. The first Glock I ever bought was the 26 and I carried it for years until I sold it to a buddy of mine so I could get a bigger Glock. lol
Augie, I found the 43X with a +2 mag extender feelz real good in my hand. The Sig P365 did not. Wife loves it though.
I put 50 rounds thru the gun stores P365 tonight. I liked the size and it was a good shooter. Only thing that kind of bothered me is it seemed like the magazine was moving whilst I grasped the handle of the gun. So the 43x wins over the P365 so far. Now I need to test the G26 and see how it compares. I think I may like it because it has a slide that is similar to my G19?!

If I like the G26 all my G19 mags will fit in it. In the event of a zombie vaccine apocalypse that will come in handy. Do I need hollow points for zombies or can I just use standard FMJ range ammo?!
