I'm not an 80 year old woman, so I don't watch the Oscars, but I do read the news the next day.

Could there possibly be any better indicator of our country's overall level of chippiness than freakin' Will Smith bitch-slapping Chris Rock on stage over a joke?

Holy cow.



I want to hope this was staged to boost the slumped ratings of the "yay us" Hollywood event, but somehow I doubt it.

Chris Rock handled the slapping with class.  Will Smith came off looking like a douche and should have been escorted out.  Where's the security for all these woke folks?  Defunded?  Lost any respect I had for Hancock.

I don't watch the Oscars either. Just heard about it on the radio. I'm betting Will Smith comes out with a statement that encourages folks to love him more and maybe feel sorry for him?!

I like Will Smith more than I like Chris Rock. Hard to say what was in his head.

Obviously don't watch these things but didn't people say that errybody is banging his wife? They are swingers or somesuch.

Seems even rich actors lack impulse control. It's not just the idiot athletes.

I'm leaning to the whole thing being staged. I mean they are "actors" and this was a great way to get ratings since nobody cares to watch the Hollywood circle jerk any more.

Why does anyone even spend 2 brain cycles pondering such fluff.
