I attended my background check last night.  Way more people than I expected. I thought maybe 3-5 people. There were at least 20.  My FIL is an Elk. Last time he was here, we went to the local lodge. I really liked it - ridiculously cheap priced drinks, free pool, very cheap bowling ($1/game), and everybody seems so friendly and welcoming.  Gonna like this place.

My dad must have been an Elk when I was a youngster cause I remember going to their lodge.  They had great food and entertainment.  I remember ping pong, pool, darts, etc.  Are the Elks affiliated with any faith or specific agenda?!  My dad was big into hunting and loved being outdoors.  When the Elks discover your brewing skills they are gonna be stoked.

Very religious and patriotic. You take an oath believing God and upholding the constitution. A very friendly bunch of people.

The lodge we went to had a weekend buffet. I remember it being awesome and looked forward to going there.

Do they ever rumble with the Moose Lodge?

As long as they don't screw with the Water Buffalo.

Any new Elks news Gusso? Sounds like a good group!!!

I believe they voted on new members last night. The Initiation is in 2 weeks.

Can't wait to find out what Gusso's Elk lodge name is!!!!

My wife and I got bowling balls today for future use at the Elk's! Can't beat $1 per game.
