The CDC, in it's infinite wisdom and newly imagined power, decided to recommend masking up as a way to avoid monkeypox. And then they changed their mind. 

How did we get to be the clown country in just a few dozen months?  Remember when there were Ebola and H1N1 scares, and we just handled those like adults?
