I skipped brewing last year for the Halloween party, because my LHBS had shut down, and I didn't realize it until I went shopping for ingredients on the Friday of Labor Day weekend. No recovering from that, so I just put a bunch of local beer on tap and called it good. I decided to pick up the baton again, and hit up some of the usual homebrew megastores to get a big shipment of goodies. Holy hell - liquid yeast is $20 a pack now? What the actual.....
Oh wait - packets of Wyeast are still "only" $11. Maybe just the White Labs Pitchable is at the $20 mark?
Alright. 3 bones invested. Let's hope I still remember how the magic works!
Equipment needed:
HLT
Mash tun
Carboy
Glass fermenter
Diaper
Hoses
I haven't brewed since early March. I need to try this again.

Don't forget that old water heater. CO2 doesn't grow on trees, you know.

Those are crazy prices. Ritebrew is reasonable. Plus, there are a lot of good dry yeast now.
