Cleaning up after a double double brew weekend.  I had my HLT on the ground with a strong citric acid mix in it to dissolve calcium deposits.  I gave it a spin and this lone plume of liquid shot out and went right at my eyes.  I could feel the burn instantly, but fortunately had a live water hose right next to me, so I blasted myself in the face with it trying to flush everything out for a good minute.  No obvious damage, but man.

This is always my nightmare when pouring muriatic into the pool.  I'm always ready to jump in if I have to lol.

Damn, watch those peepers peeps!

So my sand filter guts need replacing. Noticing small amounts of sand on the pool floor that I've never seen before.

Good time to replace the sand while I'm at it, 9 years was a good run.
