The Marines are fully embedded with the medieval fantasy bullshit of an alien realm right down to the horses crapping on the streets and persistent threat of a wizard flash dropping the sky on them. But it's okay because if they just sit tight and hope it all goes away, Earth is gone. More locally, a world-conquering army is on their doorstep and winter is setting in. Everything sucks, allies are few, but the war is on. Get some.

Gotten me sum. Just the Kindle version, though. Hope that doesn't hose your salez figurz.

Kindle is the best version for royalities. Print versions are basically at cost (printing cost + amazon's take). Kindle just has amazon's take.

Got the first one on my kindle. Took me from February to August to read The Terror, so I should be reading the third one sometime in 2026.
