I wrote a check for my buddy's kid. They don't care, just show them the money any old way.

I ended up giving 20s. A lot of places are flat out not taking cash right now, but 20s can at least be spent during normal times with relative ease. For a lot of daily incidental expenses, places won't accept larger bills and you have to hit a bank or ATM anyway. My parents almost always give my kids a crisp hundred for their birthday, and every time, I'm thinking, "great, what dafuq am I gonna do with this?"

Ya I didn't want to go to bank either. I figured the kid is going there cause of all the $$$ he's getting Smile
