RE: Retirement Planning - Corpus Christi Edition - Augie91 - 04-13-2022 Watched a lot of Sandfest videos this past week. Looks like an awesome event!! Never seen any celebration of Sandcastles quite like it. RE: Retirement Planning - Corpus Christi Edition - Augie91 - 04-16-2022 Texas beaches be busy today!! https://www.sandpiperportaransas.com/about-sandpiper/live-surf-cam RE: Retirement Planning - Corpus Christi Edition - Augie91 - 05-02-2022 https://www.chron.com/life/wildlife/amp/Texas-angler-catches-tiger-shark-Port-Aransas-17139007.php A San Antonio angler reeled in a bucket list catch after landing a 9.5-foot tiger shark on the shores at Port Aransas beach on Thursday, April 28. Local fisherman Michael Ploch told MySA it was an "exhausting but exciting" two-hour fight. If we can ever make it work a beach shark fishing meet up of ex blue boarders could be fun. RE: Retirement Planning - Corpus Christi Edition - Augie91 - 05-03-2022 That would be awesome! Never fished for shark before, it would be a great experience I bet!! I thought it interesting that the guy in the story used a drone to place his lure. Pretty high tech fishing. Biggest fish I've caught has been a spoonbill catfish on a dam in Kentucky. It put up a good fight, but not shark fight I'm guessing ![]() RE: Retirement Planning - Corpus Christi Edition - TxBrewer - 05-04-2022 (05-03-2022, 12:07 PM)Augie91 Wrote: That would be awesome! Sharks are fun to catch but to be honest they can come in like a log till they realize that they are being pulled over a sand bar then they freak out and run like hell. Personally I get more excited when it's time to bring em in the last from wade gut to beach then the fun begins. Get the hook out, get size, pictures, and get em back in the water swimming out asap. RE: Retirement Planning - Corpus Christi Edition - Augie91 - 05-09-2022 You tuber who lives in his vehicle and drives around the southern beaches in Texas. A San Antonio woman caught a special gift after her wedding in Port Aransas over the weekend. Eliot Waggoner Granville, 34, got married at the Chapel on the Dunes on Sunday. She and her husband enjoy fishing and vacationing near the beach. "It was our wedding night and we were sitting on the bed and my husband was like, 'well, what do you want to do?," Granville said. "I'm more of a fisher than he is so I said let's go fishing." https://www.caller.com/story/news/2022/05/23/texas-bride-catches-massive-fish-after-port-aransas-wedding-corpus-christi-san-antonio/9892730002/ RE: Retirement Planning - Corpus Christi Edition - Augie91 - 06-14-2022 Crap!
