Annual "these fecking gnats" thread - Trub Lou - 06-18-2020 Dynatrap works great for skeeters and a lot of moths. Thermacell seems to ward off the remainder of mosquitos really well. But I just can't seem to make the gnats go away. The shit that you hook to the end of your garden hose maybe works okay for a day or two, but then they're back in force, and I'm not sure if I want to dump that much stuff onto the ground twice a week. Have there been any breakthroughs that don't involve just nuking the area from orbit? RE: Annual "these fecking gnats" thread - Badogg - 06-18-2020 Have you tried taking a shower? ![]() RE: Annual "these fecking gnats" thread - dave - 06-18-2020 Have you tossed the overripe bananas? RE: Annual "these fecking gnats" thread - Trub Lou - 06-18-2020 No on the shower, need more info on the bananas. Also, KBS, while overrated, is a fine "have to spend a beautiful sunny day doing work stuff in my basement" beer. RE: Annual "these fecking gnats" thread - Mexas Joe - 06-18-2020 No gnat problem in Texas, just sayin. Skeeters are not bad either. Got a ton of Messicans tho. ![]() |
