Rest In Peace Rush - Augie91 - 02-17-2021

Blessings and thanks to Rush and his family.  As a long time listener, I will MISS his program VERY much.  I'm certain he fought with great courage, and that his SPIRIT will live on in all conservatives hearts for MANY years to come. Continued prayers for Rush and his family.

Never heard him speak, but i'm not big into listening to pod casts and talk shows. Twitter seems happy, which is messed up.

Brownie & Co being their usual charming selves at this news.

Being on the radio 15 hours a week, I'm sure there were a few comments that are being mined out and folks are judging him based on those.  It really is unfortunate that folks cannot see things like philanthropy and the millions of people Rush certainly inspired and helped throughout his lifetime.

Being so full of hate is really very foreign to me and it still perplexes me how blinded by hate people can be.  Judging our fellow humans is really not our place IMHO.

I've never expressed any sort of happiness when hearing of someone's death except maybe Bin Laden.. and even that made me uncomfortable.

I'm with you Dave.  Dancing on someone's grave has never struck me as a good move.  I believe that if you express negativity then negativity will visit you for paybacks.  "Judge not, lest ye be Judged".  When Isaacs cancer journey ended I never ever said anything along the lines of him kicking cancers butt or anything like that.  When fellow cancer kids folks said that it ALWAYS made me uncomfortable.  Humility has a place in our earthly life and I think it is a wonderful posture of Grace.

"When I was on 'Celebrity Apprentice,' Rush Limbaugh made a donation of $100,000 dollars to St Jude Children's Hospital to support them, and my mission on the TV Show under the condition that he remained anonymous," Rich, who appeared on the show in 2011, tweeted. "I never said a word until now. He will be missed. #RIPRushLimbaugh."

The country singer spoke further about the donation with Fox News.

Celebrating a cancer death seems markedly subhuman.

I think I agreed with Rush on a lot of things, but to be honest I'm not sure I ever listened to him on the radio. It might have been the background radio show at a barber I used to go to.

I could not have less respect for someone.  A waste of flesh.
