Crime in Chicago / Your Neighborhood - Augie91 - 08-09-2021

"At least 75 people were shot over the weekend in Chicago, more than half during a 10-hour span that saw a Chicago police officer killed and three mass shootings that wounded 16 people."

This kind of violence is scary.  It never seems to be highlighted on the news enough.  My town, 3 hours away from Chicago, has had a huge increase in car theft, burglaries, and even shootings over the past year.   What's the climate of crime like in your neck of the woods?!

Some Masshole moved in a few houses over on a side street and calls the police on anyone that steps one foot on her grass. Almost had her senior citizen neighbor arrested for trespassing.

That's all I got.

Seems like there's been an uptick in robberies and maybe murder. Could just be the local news following the new trend of reporting more shootings.

We got a rash of teeny boppers stealing cars. One car owner tried to stop them and got run over and is in the hospital with brain damage. Somebody's gonna probably get shot next.
