What the actual feck has happened to people?

So, Meat Loaf died. We should all be able to accept that as a sad thing, considering the guy was an icon and had one of the best selling albums of all time.

That seemed to be the initial reaction, but then as soon as there was a rumor that COVID was involved, humanity ended.  All of a sudden, twits and shitrags seemed to be coming out of the woodwork to virtue signal by actually saying he got what he had coming since he dared to question the government on the masking and shots stuff.

Can we ever get ourselves back from this?  Are those people just too far gone?

There are plenty of people around that think he should have gotten the shots but are nonetheless sad he's gone. They just don't go around acting like twits and shitrags.

In any herd, there will be a percentage of blind followers.
They have to exist for a healthy herd population.
We lion types as a group have not done a proper job, like lefty has, of training their fears to guide them our direction.

I understand the frustration when someone dies. It always seems like a death may have been preventable, but no death is ultimately preventable. Something is gonna kill you. If he was the kinda guy who ate tofu and took every vaccine offered, he might still be alive. But no one would know who he was or be enriched by his art. He could've died from lung cancer, heart attack, suicide, anything. They're all sad and his was a life celebrated. Don't like the antivax message? Kinda takes care of itself with the outcome. Same as if he died eating a hamburger.

Dude rocked. Never crossed my mind why he died, just glad he lived to rock. He was awesome in Fight Club too....

Miss EVH too. Hopefully they can rock out in the afterlife.
