I recently read a brief article in Kiplinger's about a woman in Colorado who opened an AirBnb. It got me to thinking about the feasibility of investing in real estate where you retire to manage and use for retirement income. We are always thinking of things to do in retirement to stay busy and make a little bank. Businesses like an ice cream shop on the beach or bike path are one of the fun examples we have discussed. Curious what ideas you all have discussed for keeping busy and earning a little dough in retirement? Anybody own investment property in a vacation spot or rent property out through VRBO or AirBnB?
