Gun Safe Deal
#1
my son sent me a text earlier about a 36 gun safe they are going to have on sale Nov 24-28th, normal price is 499, sale price 299.  seems like a good deal for a decent entry level safe.

I'm afraid of buying another safe because it will look empty and I can't afford to fill it up.

I like that and if it really will be on sale for 299.00 I may get one. My large one is filled with guitars, guns, and ammo... plus I still have 3 more guitars and a banjo I would like to safely store/hide.
Any idea on the outer dimensions? I need to know the footprint so I can fit it somewhere...

Do yourself a favor then and DON'T watch the youtubes of how easy a safe can be busted into.

actually i'm more into just having a nice place to store my guns/ammo and documents, actually 'securing' them doesnt really enter into the equation beyond just removing an easy target that most crackhead theives wont be prepared for. right now my guns are stored in cases under the bed or in closets. the only thing that is actually 'locked up' is my pistol in the closet.

Yeah, Tony you need to remedy that. A casual 5 min break-in and your guns will be gone.

the only ones that are under a bed are there for quick access. the house we bought has a hidden closet inside the master that most of them are in, you wouldn't find them unless you knew it was there. I didn't even know it was there until almost 2 months after I moved in.
