Daisy 880 Powerline
#1
Okay, so I'm guilty.  I wanna get my boy interested in shooting.  For Christmas I got him the Daisy 880 Powerline rifle from Walmart.  It's a fine weapon for under $40.  I got him the pellets and the bb ammo.  We shot it over Christmas break at some splatter targets and 2 liters (orange Crush).  The sights are solid and it shoots well.  I'm hoping in 2021 I can take him to the range and have him fire the 9mm. There were a few "you'll shoot your eye out jokes".

I like bb guns. Last year I bought a pellet rifle that I think BBM recommended, so I could take out ground squirrels. That guy fucks.

The cmp sells used versions for about 175. Great gun for the money.

I tell you Isaac BB/Pellet gun is a sweet shooter. I could not believe the price, it would be an excellent rifle for varmint control. I don't see it taking out a ground hog, but I think it's definitely capable of squirrels and chippers. It comes with a scope, but we never put it on. I don't foresee us doing any long range sniping lol. There was a lot of pellet guns that were really expensive. I don't see paying more than $75 for one. Under $50 was ideal for me.

I saw a few Gamo air pistols that were pretty sweet, but they looked too much like real guns and I would not feel. comfortable with him having something that would be mistaken for a 9mm.
