2021 Positivity Thread!!

The other day I went for a nice walk and got to thinking about how this past year has really had a lot of negativity in it for me personally.  There was a lot of fun, and a lot of love, but there was too much hate for me personally.  In forums that I said goodbye to recently,  I used to post lots of positive messages about Faith and Love.  Hate became more of a friend to me in 2020 though. I title this thread Positivity because I know not everybody believes in Jesus as Savior, but they have Love in their hearts, which is very similar.  So this thread is about discussing how we can get more Faith, and Love, and Positivity in our lives and support one another!!  Please post stuff here to encourage me and others!!  Here's a good video that does talk about Jesus and Faith, but I think if you substitute the Word Love for Christ it is applicable to anybody!!

Being a positive force in the world is tough because there is an overabundance of negativity that lives only to be discharged. So, when you say, "Hey, we can get through this" the wave of cynicism that crashes down is from a rabid, desperate need to make you feel low. Tearing other people down is all the negatives have, it's the only power they can wield.

So, sometimes, it's okay for the positives to hold back a little.

I've REALLY gotten away from Love this past year and turned the hate spigot on. It's a losing proposition for me. My wife and I often talk about how our positivity during Isaac's battle with cancer really helped him and our family get through it without being too damaged mentally. So many people loved on us and gave us hope. If we approached it with negativity instead of positivity I think it could very well have caused a lot of destruction. So I need to get back to being positive cause it has really been a blessing in my past

I haven't even begun to hate yet. I'm saving it, socking it away into an investment account. It grows, i feed, it grows. It's my retirement.

It won't matter. As of tomorrow, the media will mysteriously be friendly and non-combative again. Any residual issues will be to a small handful of a hundred million white supremacists who just need to fall in line or gtfo.
