You can never carry too much ammo, unless you are swimming or on fire.

It kind of makes sense. It's not like the street thugs are out there applying for permits.

Thankfully, my ammo issues revolve around having space to store/hide all of it lol...
I keep small boxes ( 50-100 rds) in the gun safe for the most part but ammo cans, cases, and crates gotta go somewhere... if someone gets inside the house again I don't want them to find any.
So, a few cans of M2 behind the filing cabinet, some Russian 7.62 in the upper cabinets in the dining room, and two crates of heavy ball for the Mosin under the laundry basket in the closet is some of what I'm dealing with here.
Invariably, when I go looking for some spare wire, a blanket, or the hand blender, I usually am surprised with the discovery of ammo I didn't know that I had..

Lol. Very funny story Dave! The older I get the more trouble I have remembering where I hide stuff or that I even hid something in the first place! I'm currently just dealing with a half dozen ammo cans worth. I've been wanting to get a few more pistols and hit range more, but I'm just not seeing ammo anywhere. I've not been actively searching weekly and have backed off range visits to once a month. You got a good problem there Dave!

In addition to Iowa, at least 15 states already allow concealed carry of handguns without a permit, according to the U.S. Concealed Carry Association and Everytown for Gun Safety. Two of those, North Dakota and Wyoming, allow permitless carry only for their own residents.
