You can buy stripped or complete lowers pretty easy, and the parts kits are typically plentiful. However, because of election year and riots, lots are sold out. Yeah, with the frame you see there, I can build a rifle of several calibers by just switching out the barrel/upper and using a different magazine. 6.5 creedmoor, 300 short mag, 308 or .338 are the most popular calibers. If you build off an AR-15 frame, there are even more calibers you can utilize.
