Kids and Phones Questions
#4
We got Eero app on wifi, so we regularly block youngest daughters wifi access, and she does not have a data card in her phone yet. Thank the Lord for that!!! She won't get one either if she does not comply going forward. She's a solid couple years away from that if she does not get in line. Further, I recently discovered that Netflix, the app my youngest daughter watches the most can be blocked/restricted.

I don't take kindly to teenagers telling me what the rules/limits are.

Hold off as long as you can.  Our 16 yr old did not get a phone till she was a sophomore.  Our 15 year old got one when he was a freshman.  Our 14 year old got hers (no data) when she went into 8th grade.  Each progressively pushed us to move up the timeframe.

Each, however; was the last kid in their grade to get phones, so we are "freaks" when it comes to parenting in that regard Smile
