Everything Bagel was okay.  Old Bay was too salty.  Big Wills BBQ rub is in first place with cinnamon sugar in second.[Image: 49f545587811fec44b8d32aee60ff513.jpg]

I love the stuff on my seafood and sprinkle on burgers and grill cheese etc. Perhaps I should reassess today, my taste buds could have been wrecked last night......

Found a great no knead crusty bread super easy recipe! I've made the white bread recipe 2 times and the family went crazy for it. First time I added fresh rosemary to the dough, second time I added everything bagel seasoning. Recipe is basically...

3 cups flour
2+ cups warm water (recipe called for less)
teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon yeast

I cook mine in a big round pyrex that has a topper. The gal that posted the recipe uses a dutch oven. She dusts the bottom with corn meal and that really works good to keep the loaves from sticking. I'm going to make this recipe a third time today with cinnamon sugar topping. Watch the short YouTube video, it is well worth it!!

I don't do nearly enough with cabbage. My grampa used to make a great beef-vegetable soup that was heavy on cabbage. I haven't had that in twenty years.

It's a hearty soup that's friendly on my diet. I think a cup of the soup has 111 calories. I like cabbage especially in soup. I put a little Chipotle's Tabasco in there yum!

Basically the same artisan bread recipe with a touch more salt. I like the details of this video and particular like their preheat of the pan and use of parchment paper. Going to implement these slight changes. This bread is SO EASY and the family is going crazy for it. I have been making s loaf ever few days.
