Sprite/bourbon is my beach drink of choice! Mexas you were up in North Port A area yes?! Did you catch all them snappers off a jetty or boat? Do you use some type of lure, or live bait?? Did you get to eat some of them snappers??

Wife went on a white claw kick a few years ago and then abruptly stopped. So i had like 10 of them taking up space in the fridge. It wasn't easy, but i sat down one day and consumed them. You don't cast, you simply let you line drop to the bottom, reel up 2-3' and you either lost your bait or catch a snapper in 5 min or less. It's been many years since I was at Port A. Forget eating out at night, the wait time is 1.5-3 hours if you arrive after 5:30. Same story short staffing. Needing the ride the Ferry would be a beating erryday. The option is a 30 min drive SW to Corpus.

We might have to try one of those fishing party boats!! So far we just have kayaking the bay, and riding horses in the beach scheduled. The older the kids get the more active doing stuff they like to be. I'm happy just sitting watching the surf lol.

Be careful on beach horses, lots of those outfits should be closed down for not caring for or adequately feeding the horses. They had a gun on Matagorda that had em in a corral with zero hay or shade, was happy to see him get closed down.

Hosting 30+ tonight for my SIL's 50th.
I'll be the catering beotch and throwing down beef/chicken fajitas. Did a ton of meal prep last night.
