How was the tropical dipa? Sounds killer. What kinda hops did you use?
I haven't tapped it yet, no room in the kegerators. The hops were Citra and Vic Secret. I'm doing a New Zealand pils tomorrow.
Bruh. Who is drinking all that beer!? Pm me your address and I'm gonna buy a place down the street from you and spend a few nights a week helping you drink that up!!!
Citra and Simcoe based beers are definitely my favorites. Had a few this past weekend!

2lbs 10L cyrstal steeped for 45 minutes
8OZ Citra@60

2OZ Cascade@flameout

1056 American Ale Yeast
Yum! You gonna dry hop that in the future?! I had an all Simcoe ale, the more I dry hopped it the better it suited my tastes!!

I don't normally do that.  I might though.  I need to get my hands on some whole hops.  A friend of mine gave me a stainless dry hop sleeve which I only used once.
I used to grow Chinook up to the gutters of my 2 story house. They grew for several years after I stopped brewing. They were pretty easy to grow IMHO and did not require much space.

Tapped it a few days ago - wow, what a fruit bomb!  The Hornindal yeast also added to the fruitiness.

Why not use pellets in the tube?;

Do you do 60 boils on extract? Just curious as I now do 30 for all grain. I just up the bitter hops. I haven't noticed any difference at all - even pilsner.

Edit. I just noticed 8oz of Citra at 60? Whoah, seems way off. I just use an ounce or two of bittering hops. Save that Citra for post boil. Same with the 15 addition. You'll get way more flavor.
