Doing the deep fry turkey again. Our Thanksgiving meal is undergoing a wrinkle this year. My granddaughter, who is still breastfeeding, cannot tolerate any cows milk, even indirectly. That put my daughter on a nondairy diet. So no real butter or my usual buttermilk brine soak for the bird. We're having to check out the vegan section at the grocery store for alternatives.
