First ARA Match
#1
Been shooting 22 since July. I finally entered a match at Palmetto Gun Club. Great club, I hope to be a member soon. I used my ghetto wind flags. They helped. They have an 825 yards range. Wow. Anyway, I placed 9th out of 21.  Pretty good for the first time. I'm happy

What model is that rifle? Trigger pull?

We made wind flags out of red solo cups with the bottoms cut out and streamers attached to the bottom and a hole poked through and a nail or long pointy thing through the hole and mount that to a stake like you have there. Works great.

CZ 457 MTR. Not sure of the current weight of trigger pull. It is adjustable. I'm going to play around with it this week.

Good ammo test review for this rifle here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0W0-aEyPUZ0

Best ammo matched for the rifle is critical for precision shooting!

I watch a lot of that guy's videos. I've been trying a lot of ammo. So far, the best I've tried is old (12-14 years old) Lapua OSP. I have a brick leftover from my bullseye days. I want to try Lapua CenterX but it's hard to find right now.

I did some adjustments this week. Went from roughly 2.8 down to 1.35-ish.

Also located a couple of bricks of Lapua CenterX.

Got the Center X today. Gonna test a box in the next few days. I hope it's a good lot!
