I recently brewed up a hazy double ipa. 10 gallon batch. 2 weeks ago.
15 DME first addition - 60 min
3 DME Wheat 60 min
16 oz 10L Crystal Malt (Crushed)
8 oz Citra Hops (Bittering, 60 Minutes)
Flavor Hops: 3oz Citra Hops (15 Minutes)
Aroma Hops: 2 oz Cascade Hops (1 Minutes)
1st gen 1056 American ale yeast

Followed that up Saturday afternoon of my usual arrogant bastard recipe.

18 lbs Muntons L DME
# 2 pounds crystal 120
# 1lb Pale Chocolate Malt
# 8oz chinook pellets (12.5 aa%) (15.6 AAUs) @ 90 min
# 3.0 oz chinook pellets (12.5 AAUs) @ 30 min
# 2oz chinook pellets (6.25 AAUs) @ flame out
# 1056 American yeast - 2nd generation

I always thought arrogant bastard used English Dry ale yeast. Other than that, I think mine is pretty similar. 11 pounds of pale, 3 pounds of c-120, 3 additions of chinook, and a pack of English Dry.

BDutton, I'm surprised you still use dme. You're a reloader. Geez, take the next step.

18 pounds of extract kind of suggests it's a ten gallon batch, though, right?

And time. There're times I'll pay the extra $ for DME, just to shave off the prep, and mash time.
