Watching videos on Sig P238 and Springfield 911 380/9mm carry handguns. Anybody shoot them? I'm gonna see if my local range has them to test. My home defense is Glock so this 1911 format would be different and take some getting used to. Have to see how they feel and if I could get used to safety..

Never held or shot them but they both look like clones of my Colt Series 80 Mustang.
Great pistol but small... if you have largish hands it may not be comfortable.

Found some .380 ammo this am at the Field and Stream! Bought a couple boxes and hit the range! Been 2 months!! I rented the P238 below and LOVED the way it shot.
Yes. Gotta be copy of that Mustang!! Positives - Trigger is a lot like my G19 imho. Very smooth and has a short reset. Recoil is less than my G19. I shot a lot with just my right hand and P238 hit better than my G19. I Love the size of the P238! Only negative would be price. I know the P238 costs more than similar guns. I shot some 38 Special ammo today too and tried holding my 357 with just one hand. My aim was much better than it normally is. I'm gonna shoot one handed a little more often. Are there any negatives in shooting with one hand versus two?!?!

I think follow up shots are harder to keep on target when shooting one-handed... but, if you hit your target, you don't need a follow up

Found some .380 and 357 mag rounds on Federal website. I've noticed they are posting some stock occasionally out there for those of you looking for specific ammo..

Fyi you ammo seekers!! Federal is dropping ammo on their website on a regular basis. I've been ordering from there cause the prices are not bad and I still don't find much at the big box stores.
